The Administrator and General Editor of this site, Taruvinga Lament Magwiroto, has more than 15 years’ experience in rural extension and training, with special interest in programme design for participation and inclusion in rural development. Taruvinga has worked in Zimbabwe for the Ministry of Agriculture and the University of Zimbabwe and is keen to further explore the potential of ICTs for equitable rural futures.

Dr. Last Hungwe BVSc (UZ ), Dip. (Mazowe) is an animal health consultant with more than 15 years experience in the livestock innovation field. He is currently working to promote goat production among smallholder farmers in Zimbabwe, juggling that with masters studies in Veterinary Pathology at the University of Zimbabwe.

Brighton Gweshe has been in and around agriculture and livestock since graduating from Rio Tinto Agric College in 2005. He has previously worked as a livestock extension officer, then Lecturer/Trainer in the Ministry of Agriculture, Zimbabwe. He is currently consulting in livestock and agricultural project management.

Patrick Shoriwa has worked in the Poultry Breeding and commercial sector since 2005 at the biggest commercial poultry breeder in Zimbabwe. He has risen to Assistant Breeder Manager. He brings in a specialist and practitioner’s perspective on poultry marketing and management.
